Healthy living! Healthy eating!
Now that I'm pretty much done breast feeding my youngest I'm back into the workout scene!! I've been clean eating with a few hiccoughs since the beginning of the year and 2 weeks ago I started the 21 day fix program to tighten up my clean eating and take advantage of some 30 minute workouts!!!

1920's dresser
Man I suck at remembering to get full before pictures!
We removed all the veneer (wet towel and hot iron and putty knife)
Painted the dresser with a base coat of old white (Annie Sloan chalk paint) then a coat of Paris grey. I distressed and clear waxed then dark waxed.
Here's my helper!!
I ordered crystal knobs from amazon
And lined the drawers with a "vintage looking" liner
And the finished project!!!!
I'm very happy with how it turned out

Painting here and painting there
A few of my recent painting projects...hope you enjoy
This is a small cabinet that's in my kitchen. I felt like I had too much black and needed to lighten up the area.
I forgot to get a total before pic, so here's after I painted the door.
This is old ochre and the next pic is with a pure white whitewash over
I also had a black rocking chair in my entryway that I wanted some color pop added.
First I did 2 coats pure white
Then a Provence wash
Then I sanded, sanded and did a little more sanding. Both pieced were waxed clear!
Thanks for looking!! Xoxo

A few more projects in the making....
I don't have a before pic but the new mantle is 12" deep and 67" long!
Tonight I will get a photo of it with the holiday decor!
A little late but here's the updated mantle pic...
Also I have a new leaf for my kitchen table just in time for Xmas!!!
Bathroom makeover
Bathroom before (sorta) this was after I repainted the walls a light grey.
I will have to find a true before photo!
I gel stained vanity with generals java
This look took 2 coats. Also added a tile backsplash
Then I chalk painted with cupboard above toilet using Annie Sloan pure white, old white and both clear and dark wax. Before and after pictures below!!

Transition piece
This week we have been busy finishing up the transition piece that will go where we had the wall removal (in between kitchen and living room)
This is the area where it will go.
We decided on oak! The bottom was routered out to fit nicely inside this "gap" and the top edges were routered round.
There was a lip on top that we planed down.
I helped hold the wood steady with this sweet princess asleep on my back!
Then came the sanding process!
About ready to start the first coat of stain! We chose a white wash to hopefully match floors in the living room.
First coat of stain is on...
And it's done baby!!! Isn't is amazing?!?!!
